David Jaffe has announced layoffs at his studio The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, following the cancellation of an unannounced challenge.
The “huge majority” of Bartlet Jones personnel working on video games are now out of labor, Jaffe showed on Twitter last night.
“Heart’s breaking for the amazingly gifted team that is out of labor :(,” he wrote.
It’s not clean what the studio became working on – style, structures, or how a long way along the assignment was. Neither is it clean what the ultimate non-gaming team of workers on the studio are as much as.
Jaffe is satisfactory known as author of Twisted Metal and director of the first two God of War video games.
In 2014 Jaffe founded Barlet Jones, his very own studio, and advanced cel-shaded arena shooter Drawn to Death. It released in 2017 as a free PlayStation Plus recreation to combined critiques and a short shelf lifestyles.
“Wanted y’all to pay attention it from me before absolutely everyone else,” Jaffe said. “More news to come back however for now, that is what’s up.”
