It’s that point again, whilst oldsters get all enthusiastic about the whisperings of a potential upcoming Valve game release. Despite the developer’s clean disdain for the wide variety “3,” many gamers are preserving their palms crossed for a few type of large display.
The modern Valve rumors point closer to LEFT four DEAD 3. Even our cynical staffers have grown curious at the tips stoning up on Reddit and throughout social media. First, there may be the Left four Dead 2 Facebook web page, which suggests what appears to be a zombified hand with 3 hands, after which there may be the latest CS: GO patch notes, which consist of a line about an “ashtray for smokers.”
If you head over to the Left four Dead website and click the Facebook icon, you’ll grow to be on the Left four Dead 2 Facebook page, which now shows the name of Valve’s Ted Carson. Look on the banner photo and you will see a hand with three palms. This appears just like the hands used for the authentic Left 4 Dead and its sequel.
However, there may be some other tease accessible!
As mentioned by Joe Parlock on Twitter, the latest CS: GO patch notes keep the next clue, with the curious “ashtray for people who smoke” line. Smokers are one of the primary Left four Dead enemies. This may be another tease for a sequel!

Obviously, Valve knows the price of hype, and how crazy the internet will become every time it gets a whiff of a Half-Life 3 rumor. If a game became in the works, I suppose it is probable that Valve would use LEFT 4 DEAD ARG to help build pleasure, embedding clues into web sites, patch notes, the Steam market, and some other place. I reckon this is simply the beginning, and we’re going to soon see greater ARG teasers… Or, it can all be a wind-up through a a hit troll!
